What you'll do:

• You will be responsible for the comprehensive architecture planning and design of the server diagnostic platform during both Design Validation (DV) and Manufacturing (MFG) phases to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Your role involves establishing clear standards for the Diagnostic Platform as well as the Validation Framework, Automation Infrastructure, and all associated testing processes to guarantee consistency across projects.
• You will plan and integrate advanced diagnostic solutions for x86 Server systems encompassing CPU, DIMM, NIC, GPU, Switches, PDUs, Storage devices including NVMe drives, and related subsystems to enhance overall system functionality.
• You will guide system architecture evolution by making informed technical decisions and optimising platform design to improve scalability, maintainability, and reliability for current and future needs.
• You will create a unified diagnostic framework that bridges Design Validation with Manufacturing requirements to streamline workflows and promote efficiency.
• You will collaborate closely with departments such as hardware engineering, firmware development, software engineering, validation teams, manufacturing units, and global R&D groups to develop robust technical strategies and establish high-quality development standards.
• You will provide ongoing technical direction and architectural guidance to international development teams while fostering cross-regional (Cross-Geo / Cross-Site) collaboration through effective communication and shared best practices.
• You will assess emerging technologies and new platform requirements to develop a forward-looking technical roadmap for the Server Diagnostic Platform that aligns with organisational goals.
• You will lead your development team in implementing architectural designs while assisting in resolving highly complex system challenges and integration issues that may arise during project execution.

What you bring:

• You possess deep familiarity with x86 system architecture including both Intel and AMD platforms which enables you to design solutions tailored for modern server environments.
• Your background includes hands-on experience in Server Driver development as well as Firmware or Embedded System work or low-level system programming which equips you with practical insights into platform behaviour.
• You are comfortable working within Linux system development environments allowing you to leverage open-source tools effectively in building scalable solutions.
• Your proficiency in C / C++ / Python means you can contribute directly to codebases or guide others in implementing efficient algorithms for diagnostics.
• You have demonstrated experience designing large-scale platform or system architectures which ensures you understand how individual components interact within complex infrastructures.
• Your skills include providing technical direction across teams while nurturing cross-team collaboration—qualities essential for guiding international groups toward common objectives.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills enable you to communicate clearly with colleagues around the world regardless of location or discipline.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering—or a related field—provides you with strong theoretical foundations relevant to this role.
• With over 10 years of relevant work experience under your belt you bring seasoned judgement when addressing architectural challenges or mentoring others.
