• Oversee all aspects of product certification with a primary focus on RF regulatory compliance and EMC certification requirements for global markets, from initial planning through execution and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with research and development, product management, and other internal teams during the product development phase to provide expert advice on RF/EMC regulations, test strategies, risk assessments, and feasibility recommendations.
• Analyse changes in regulations, testing standards, and certification requirements to assess their impact on products and projects; share insights through technical analysis and internal knowledge sharing sessions.
• Drive cross-departmental certification or compliance projects by coordinating stakeholders, addressing non-routine technical or project issues, and leading the planning and implementation of solutions for medium to large-scale initiatives.
• Represent the department in building effective partnerships with both internal teams and external organisations; proactively facilitate communication across departments to resolve conflicts or key obstacles during project advancement.
• Support the integration of regulatory requirements into product design decisions by interpreting complex standards and guiding teams towards compliant solutions.
• Monitor the entire product lifecycle to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving international standards and manage recertification activities as needed.
• Lead efforts to continuously improve certification processes by tracking industry trends, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing best practices within the organisation.
• Provide training or mentoring to colleagues on regulatory topics to foster a culture of compliance awareness throughout the company.

• A university degree or higher in engineering disciplines is required (with special consideration given to candidates from electronics or electrical engineering backgrounds).
• Proven experience in RF certification processes related to technologies such as WiFi, LTE, or 5G—including familiarity with relevant regulations and testing protocols—is essential.
• Experience with network access certification application procedures is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of EMC certification processes—including understanding of applicable regulations and test requirements—is considered advantageous.
• A strong command of English is required (TOEIC score of 700 or above preferred) to effectively communicate with international partners and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret RF/EMC regulations accurately; assess their implications for product design, testing strategies, and overall certification outcomes.
• Experience driving medium- to large-scale projects involving multiple departments; adept at resource integration and stakeholder coordination for successful project delivery.
• Excellent logical analysis skills paired with sound technical judgement; able to propose reasonable decisions even when faced with incomplete information or shifting requirements.
