【Cable/Mechanic】Product Director

A leading global electronics manufacturer seeks a Product Director in Taiwan to lead next-generation high-speed datacentre product development, driving global innovation, customer-focused solutions, and strategic growth in data communications.

Key responsibilities:

• Define the long-term product roadmap by forecasting high-speed technology trends and translating customer and market insights into product strategy
• Lead end-to-end new product development, from concept and feasibility through validation and production readiness
• Drive innovation across signal integrity, power management, EMC, cooling, and Design for Manufacturing to deliver high-performance products
• Own commercial planning, including cost modelling, capital expenditure, and product investment decisions
• Direct and develop a global team while managing multiple product programmes, budgets, timelines, quality, and technical delivery
• Partner with customers and cross-functional teams to optimise product performance, manufacturability, and successful global product launches

Candidate profile:

• 10–15 years’ experience leading new product development within electronics, data communications, or high-speed connectivity industries, supported by a strong technical background
• Proven expertise in high-speed connectivity, signal integrity, power management, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Cost (DFC) principles
• Experience managing end-to-end product development from concept generation to production readiness, collaborating with global multidisciplinary teams, OEM/ODM partners, and customer-facing stakeholders
• Ability to forecast technology trends, define market-driven product strategies, and manage complex programmes across budgets, timelines, and quality objectives
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with excellent English proficiency, travel flexibility, and familiarity with PCIe, IEEE, or related standards
