【MNC Start-up】Technical Program Manager

A leading multinational start-up is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join its engineering team in Taipei.

You will play a pivotal role in scaling industrial AI camera solutions deployed across global factory environments. This is a high-impact position where you will bridge Asia and US teams while helping define and build the program management function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities:

You will own end-to-end delivery of complex hardware and software programs while ensuring seamless coordination across global engineering and partner teams.

• Own end-to-end delivery of cross-functional hardware and software programs, including custom camera builds and software rollouts (e.g., Advantech integrations, Jetpack 6 deployments)
• Manage ODMs and hardware vendors, ensuring accountability for design milestones, prototype delivery, and lead-time commitments
• Lead software field release programs, coordinating staged deployments and maintenance windows with application teams
• Represent engineering in customer-facing technical deep dives and QBRs, translating APAC customer needs into actionable engineering requirements
• Act as the key bridge between Taipei, China, and San Francisco teams, enabling alignment, communication, and execution across regions

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate for the Technical Program Manager position brings extensive experience managing complex engineering projects within both software and hardware domains.

• 5–8 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Engineering Project Management, with a strong foundation in software delivery and exposure to hardware/embedded systems
• Proven ability to manage ODMs and vendors, driving on-time delivery while maintaining high quality standards
• Strong technical literacy, including the ability to interpret datasheets and BOMs and engage credibly with engineering teams
• Fluent in Mandarin with strong professional English communication skills for effective global collaboration
• Willingness to travel to China or customer sites approximately once every two months for hands-on support
• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, x86 architectures, or Embedded Linux is highly desirable
• Prior experience working with hardware partners such as Advantech or Adlink, or serving as the first TPM in a high-growth startup is a strong advantage
