What you'll do:

• Develop comprehensive expertise in Switch Networking products by understanding real-world customer deployment scenarios and translating these insights into effective test strategies.
• Participate actively in product requirement reviews with Product Management, specification design sessions with R&D, system architecture discussions with System Architects, component architecture planning with R&D, and SQA test planning meetings, providing constructive technical feedback at every stage.
• Drive the creation and ongoing enhancement of automated testing frameworks to maximise testing effectiveness and ensure alignment with evolving product requirements.
• Investigate complex product defects by analysing customer deployment environments, identifying root causes, and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Serve as Test Lead for major Switch product development projects, guiding the QA team through comprehensive test plan development and execution while taking ownership of overall product quality.
• Establish structured technical learning roadmaps for Switch technologies to facilitate efficient knowledge sharing and continuous team development.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, System Architecture, R&D, and QA teams to foster open communication and shared responsibility for product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers by transferring technical knowledge effectively and cultivating QA engineering expertise within the team.
• Provide direct communication support to international customers regarding product quality issues, ensuring clarity and responsiveness in addressing concerns.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the SQA team by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and technical advancement.

What you bring:

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Computer & Communication Engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA), ideally within large-scale product development environments involving complex networking solutions.
• Proven track record serving as Test Lead for major product development projects where you led testing teams through intricate testing activities.
• Hands-on experience testing Layer 2 / Layer 3 Ethernet Switch products is essential for success in this role.
• At least 3 years of experience developing automated testing solutions or test automation frameworks that align with evolving product requirements.
• Experience participating in customer acceptance testing or validation within large-scale production environments; demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Intermediate English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing; able to communicate directly with international customers regarding product quality matters.
• Strong expertise in Layer 2 / Layer 3 Ethernet Switch networking technologies combined with solid understanding of related testing methodologies.
• Solid experience designing automated testing frameworks as well as hands-on involvement in test automation development projects.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with proven ability to coach and mentor junior engineers; adept at transferring technical knowledge effectively within a collaborative team setting.
• Strong analytical skills paired with advanced problem-solving abilities; capable of diagnosing complex issues encountered in real-world customer environments.
