[Group Transformation] Data Scientist

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the data team of a leading digital commerce business, applying machine learning and advanced analytics to real-world, large-scale business scenarios. You will work across the full modeling lifecycle.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Perform data cleansing, preprocessing, feature engineering, and feature selection.
• Develop recommendation and decision models using machine learning, deep learning, data mining, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques.
• Define appropriate evaluation metrics and conduct model validation.
• Optimize models through parameter tuning and iterative experimentation.
• Manage the end-to-end model lifecycle, ensuring prediction quality and runtime performance remain stable over time.
• Research academic papers and technical documentation to identify methods that can improve existing models and approaches.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• 2+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year of hands-on data analytics / modeling experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and relevant data science / ML libraries.
• Solid SQL capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in one or more areas such as:
  • Machine Learning / Deep Learning
  • Data Mining
  • Optimization
  • Statistical Modeling
  • NLP
• Practical experience with model optimization and hyperparameter tuning.
• Ability to independently investigate and solve analytical or modeling problems.

Nice to have: Experience applying data science to e-commerce, logistics, warehousing, or SEO-related scenarios.
