What you'll do:

* Independently lead technical discovery meetings with client IT and security teams to clarify infrastructure environments, compliance requirements, and integration needs.
* Design robust on-premises or hybrid cloud architectures, including infrastructure sizing, hardware recommendations, network topology, and security frameworks tailored to each client's specifications.
* Produce comprehensive technical proposals, architecture diagrams, system integration plans, and proof-of-concept (PoC) scopes with clear success criteria.
* Respond thoroughly to RFPs/RFIs by developing compliance matrices that address regulatory standards and client expectations.
* Break down complex technical solutions into actionable work packages using internal estimation models, incorporating risk factors and contingency buffers for accurate project planning.
* Evaluate resource allocation impacts on core SaaS product development and clearly define engineering support requirements for each project phase.
* Review contract technical terms meticulously to ensure alignment between solution design, engineering estimates, and contractual commitments; propose alternative solutions when necessary.
* Lead small engineering teams through deployment phases including environment setup, application rollout, data migration, system integration, and security configuration.
* Oversee project timelines, milestones, quality assurance processes, and act as the escalation point for technical challenges during delivery.
* Guide clients through user acceptance testing (UAT), manage scope boundaries rigorously, deliver complete documentation packages post-acceptance, and provide operational training for IT staff.

* Proven experience leading small engineering teams (1-3 members) through successful project delivery cycles.
