[Fin-Centre Lead] Data Tech Lead

We are supporting a leading financial institution in hiring a Head of AI Technology, who will play a key role in shaping team culture, mentoring talent, and driving system-level planning and delivery. This leader will serve as the group's primary technical voice for AI strategy, platform development, and cross-functional innovation enablement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead cross-team communication and ensure alignment with business goals

• Mentor and guide engineers and data scientists in both career development and technical growth

• Build and reinforce a positive team culture focused on collaboration, delivery, and continuous improvement

• Oversee development processes, resource allocation, and project execution efficiency

• Recruit top technical talent and cultivate a sustainable, growth-driven engineering team

• Collaborate on business-driven use case planning, technical architecture, and system-level deployment

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise system planning or data/AI platforms

• Proven ability to lead technical architecture decisions and translate business needs into scalable systems

• Strong background in distributed computing, with tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Sqoop

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, statistical modeling, and data governance strategies

• High ownership mindset with agility under pressure and passion for team development

• Master’s degree or above; fluent English communication in speaking and writing
