What would you do:

As Chief Technology Officer, you will be fully responsible for the company's overall technology planning and execution, including formulating medium- to long-term technology blueprints, introducing cutting-edge technologies, optimizing R&D processes, and promoting information security compliance policies. In your daily work, you will lead cross-departmental teams to collaborate on system architecture design and product development tasks, while ensuring all technical solutions effectively support business goals and meet user needs. • Formulate and execute medium- to long-term technology development strategies and blueprints aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring that technological direction aligns with the corporate vision.
• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies (such as artificial intelligence, cloud architecture, automation tools, etc.) to enhance the company's technological competitiveness and innovation capabilities.
• Responsible for technical budget management, cost-benefit analysis, and optimizing IT/R&D resource allocation to ensure maximum resource utilization.
• Cultivate an engineering team culture that pursues excellence, agility, and values information security, fostering teamwork and talent growth.
• Oversee the overall system architecture design to ensure products have high availability, scalability, and security to support business needs.
• Optimize R&D processes (such as CI/CD, DevOps, Code Review) to improve product iteration speed and delivery quality.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure that technology development progress aligns with business and user needs.
• Establish and maintain strict information security standards, data privacy policies (such as GDPR/CCPA), and cybersecurity compliance measures.
• Assess various technical risks and develop response strategies to ensure operational safety.

The ideal Chief Technology Officer candidate must have a strong background in software engineering and modern system architecture design skills, along with many years of senior management experience. • Over ten years of experience in software engineering or technical development, including at least five years as a senior technical executive (such as CTO, VP of Engineering, Technical Director).
• Possess modern system architecture design capabilities, including experience in cloud-native architecture, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Familiar with mainstream development languages (such as Python, Java, Go, etc.) and database systems, with a comprehensive understanding and flexible application in different scenarios.
• Proven track record of successfully expanding and leading engineering teams of over twenty people, as well as excellent talent development and cross-departmental communication and coordination skills.
• Able to translate complex technical problems into business language understandable to senior decision-makers and non-technical partners, demonstrating strong business acumen.
• Familiar with information security standards, data privacy policies (such as GDPR/CCPA), and cybersecurity compliance requirements, with relevant practical operational experience.
• Bonus Criteria: Experience creating new products from scratch or driving company scale growth; successful cases are preferred.
• Bonus Requirements: Familiarity with the latest AI/ML application implementation technical architecture; candidates with relevant project experience are preferred.
• Bonus Requirements: Experience in fundraising for startups or liaising with investors/board members is preferred.
• Bonus Points: Candidates with international or multinational remote team management experience are preferred.
