An organisation is seeking a high-calibre Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist to join the elite tech-build and design unit of a prestigious global management consulting firm.

In this role, you won't just build models; you will bridge the gap between advanced artificial intelligence and transformative business strategy. Based in Taipei, you will join a world-class team of technologists and scientists to solve the most complex challenges faced by industry leaders today.

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-End Analytics: Own the full analytics value chain, from framing ambiguous business challenges to designing innovative algorithms and deploying scalable tools
• Strategic Problem Solving: Translate complex business issues into structured analytics problems, selecting the most effective methodologies based on specific client contexts
• Product Innovation: Build new analytics service offerings and proprietary content that expand the firm’s portfolio of disruptive digital products
• Thought Leadership: Act as a technical consultant and collaborator within a matrix organisation, guiding clients and internal stakeholders through the implications of advanced machine learning
• Collaborative Coding: Work with modern development tools to write high-quality code in a team-based environment, potentially applying DevOps or software development best practices

Candidate profile:

• Advanced Academic Background: A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinnings, with a proven track record of applying these to real-world business scenarios
• Consultative Mindset: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to "roll up your sleeves" and lead engagements while managing senior client relationships
• Action-Oriented Leadership: Intellectual curiosity combined with a bias toward action and strong project management skills
• Mobility: Flexibility to travel (approximately 60%) to meet client and business needs across various industries
