A leading organisation in Taoyuan is seeking an IT Engineer specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning and Infrastructure to join their supportive team. What you'll do:

• Handle day-to-day IT infrastructure issues and provide technical support to internal users and IT teams.
• Troubleshoot problems related to servers, virtual machines, storage, hardware, applications, and databases.
• Take care of system maintenance, health checks, performance monitoring, and basic issue investigation.
• Provide second-level support for issues that cannot be resolved by the first-line support team.
• Work with vendors on hardware failures, equipment repairs, and technical issues when needed.
• Maintain servers, VMs, storage systems, and other infrastructure equipment.
• Support office IT and data centre environments and help keep systems running normally.
• Assist with enterprise IT applications and user-related technical issues.
• Travel between different office locations when on-site support is required.
• Join annual disaster recovery exercises and help check whether systems and recovery procedures work as expected.
• Keep track of maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident records.
• Work with other IT team members to identify recurring problems and improve the way things are handled.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant IT experience, or an associate degree with equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, technical support, or a related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems across hardware, software, applications, databases, or infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with virtual machines, servers, storage systems, and data centre environments.
• Experience with enterprise IT applications, workplace technology, or IT service management tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical approach to resolving technical issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal users, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Strong attention to detail when handling system maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• Comfortable supporting multiple locations and travelling between offices when necessary.
• Willingness to participate in disaster recovery testing and other IT operational activities.
• Able to work within established procedures while gradually taking ownership of technical issues and improvements.
• Open to learning new technologies, systems, and IT processes through formal and on-the-job training.
