DevOps (On-premise)

A leading IC design company in Taiwan seeks a DevOps (On-premise) to drive AI infrastructure transformation, enabling scalable automation and efficient chip development, based in either Hsinchu or Taipei.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of DevOps practices for on-premise AI environments, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure
• Own the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, driving automation, standardisation, and efficient software delivery
• Expand automation initiatives into chip development workflows, improving operational efficiency and supporting advanced semiconductor engineering processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including AI, hardware, IT, and data science, to align DevOps strategies with business objectives while resolving infrastructure and deployment challenges
• Monitor system performance, document best practices, evaluate emerging technologies, and champion continuous improvement to enhance platform reliability, collaboration, and operational excellence

Candidate profile:

• Proven experience managing CI/CD pipelines in complex, enterprise environments, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and automation
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible, alongside containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing and supporting on-premise DevOps environments integrated with existing IT infrastructure and development workflows
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash, with the ability to troubleshoot complex build, deployment, and infrastructure issues
• Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills, with experience working across software, hardware, AI, and IT teams while promoting continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
