What you'll do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise automated manufacturing test software for cloud servers, storage devices, networking equipment, and rack-level solutions by applying your technical expertise.
• Design scalable and highly reliable smart manufacturing test processes and system architectures that meet global standards for quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with project management, research & development, quality engineering, and manufacturing teams to define effective test strategies and resolve mass production issues.
• Work directly with international customers to develop and validate manufacturing test programs, ensuring consistent testing standards across all global production sites.
• Analyse manufacturing test failures by performing thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and driving corrective as well as preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot production test software issues while assisting in resolving design, quality, and manufacturing bottlenecks through cross-functional cooperation.
• Continuously improve test processes and system performance to enhance test coverage, reliability, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Utilise Azure DevOps Pipelines for seamless deployment of test software and efficient version management across multiple sites.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of test systems at both domestic and international manufacturing locations, including occasional travel as required.
• Evaluate and introduce AI tools for software development, problem analysis, and optimisation of test processes within the smart factory environment.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field is required for this role.
• Proficiency in Python programming enables you to develop sophisticated automated testing solutions efficiently.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems combined with practical experience in Shell scripting supports your ability to manage complex environments.
• Experience using Git version control systems ensures smooth collaboration on codebases across teams.
• Knowledge of database technologies along with hands-on experience managing databases enhances your capability in handling large-scale data operations.
• Understanding networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS allows you to build reliable communication between devices during testing.
• Strong abilities in large-scale code maintenance coupled with debugging skills empower you to solve intricate problems quickly.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills foster effective teamwork with colleagues from different departments.
