Head of Private Client, Luxury
A luxury group seeks a Head of Private Client in Taipei to lead ultra-premium spirits portfolio, drive HNW client growth, and oversee commercial strategy and team leadership.
Key responsibilities:
As Head of Private Client, you will lead ultra-premium spirits strategy, grow HNW clients, and oversee team, sales execution, and luxury brand experiences.
- Commercial Ownership & Growth: Own P&L, lead sales strategy, grow HNW clients, manage key relationships, and drive luxury partnerships in Taiwan
- Sales Planning & Reporting: Develop plans and forecasts, track performance, analyze trends, and deliver KPI-driven insights and reports
- Sales Pipeline & CRM Excellence: Manage CRM pipeline (e.g. HubSpot), ensure data discipline, track KPIs (revenue, conversion, client lifetime value, average transaction value, pipeline health), and optimise ROI
- Client Experience & Brand: Deliver premium experiences, curate bespoke brand moments, and uphold prestige through personalised engagement
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead and coach a high-performing team, drive accountability, and foster a culture of excellence and improvement
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams on strategy, planning, forecasting, and delivery of revenue and profit targets
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring proven luxury sales leadership, P&L ownership, strong HNW client relationships, CRM and business development expertise, bilingual fluency, and a passion for premium spirits.
- 10+ years’ luxury commercial sales/partnerships with proven P&L ownership and revenue growth in premium environments
- Strong HNWI expertise (especially Asian clients) with cultural sensitivity and a track record in client acquisition and development
- Solid business development, partnership building, and high value selling, negotiation, and CRM (e.g., HubSpot) pipeline management
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional luxury client experiences, with strong attention to detail in data, transactions, and reporting
- Effective cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication, Mandarin-English fluency, and a passion for wines & spirits (WSET Level 2 or equivalent a plus)
