What you'll do:

As Head of Operational Technology Service Business Unit, your day-to-day activities will centre around leading a talented team through an exciting period of transformation. You will craft strategic plans that redefine how services are delivered within the industrial networking space while ensuring these plans are executed flawlessly. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing new offerings that not only meet but exceed client expectations. By fostering close collaboration between sales, operations, and delivery teams, you will ensure seamless integration of services into existing workflows.   • Define and implement the OT service business strategy in alignment with broader corporate transformation objectives, ensuring all initiatives support long-term organisational goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive three-year roadmap for service offerings, encompassing lifecycle services, subscription models, and high-value solutions that address current and emerging customer requirements.
  • Drive sustainable service revenue growth by increasing the proportion of recurring income streams while improving overall margin structure through effective pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Build and nurture a dedicated OT Service Team focused on delivering exceptional value to customers across diverse industrial networking environments.
  • Design standardised and scalable service portfolios—including maintenance, monitoring, network optimisation, and consulting—ensuring each offering meets rigorous quality standards.
  • Integrate new service offerings seamlessly into existing hardware sales processes by developing effective bundle strategies that enhance overall customer value propositions.
  • Empower sales teams to transition from traditional product selling to solution-oriented approaches by providing robust enablement tools such as playbooks and key account strategies.
  • Establish efficient service delivery models that prioritise scalability, cost-effectiveness, and consistent quality across all customer engagements.
  • Monitor operational performance by tracking key metrics related to efficiency, utilisation rates, delivery costs, and customer satisfaction levels.
  • Take full ownership of financial outcomes for the business unit by managing P&L responsibilities, reporting on KPIs such as service revenue percentages, recurring revenue ratios, gross margins, and presenting results to executive leadership.

To excel as Head of Operational Technology Service Business Unit, you will bring extensive experience from within the industrial networking or OT landscape. Your background should reflect deep familiarity with both technical concepts and commercial imperatives relevant to this sector.
