Senior Ecommerce Manager
A globally recognised lifestyle brand is seeking a Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead digital growth and online sales performance across Taiwan.
This role offers the opportunity to drive ecommerce strategy, marketplace management, customer experience, and brand expansion through innovative digital initiatives and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in enhancing online distribution channels while leading high-impact ecommerce campaigns and team performance.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and optimise ecommerce operations across owned platforms and key marketplaces, driving online sales growth, customer engagement, and brand visibility through data-driven strategies and collaborative execution.
- Lead and grow ecommerce sales across owned websites and third-party marketplaces, ensuring achievement of revenue, margin, and profitability targets aligned with group guidelines
- Monitor ecommerce performance through budget management, KPI tracking, and weekly/monthly reporting, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities
- Optimise website performance, customer journey, and online merchandising while coordinating with IT and Merchandising teams onsite maintenance, layouts, promotions, and product updates
- Develop engaging digital assets including homepage content, ad copy, banners, landing pages, and other online marketing materials to strengthen brand visibility and conversion
- Plan and execute e-marketplace campaigns in collaboration with internal teams, platform partners, and agencies to drive brand awareness, traffic, and online sales growth
- Identify and develop new ecommerce channels and distribution opportunities, including KOLs, affiliate marketing, paid search, retargeting, and digital advertising initiatives
- Manage ecommerce customer enquiries across multiple channels, ensuring accurate, timely, and professional support for pre-sales and post-sales activities
- Lead and develop team performance through hiring, coaching, KPI management, staff evaluations, cross-functional collaboration, and support for special projects assigned by management
Candidate profile:
An experienced ecommerce professional with strong marketplace management, digital marketing, web development, and team leadership capabilities, combined with excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Minimum 5+ years of ecommerce management experience, including hands-on ownership of brand websites and LINE store operations
- At least 5+ years of experience managing major ecommerce marketplaces
- Proven experience in OMO (online-merge-offline) strategy execution, including Taiwan-based influencer and KOL marketing initiatives
- Strong background in ecommerce operations with exposure to web/mobile environments, including design, marketing, and content optimisation
- Solid technical knowledge of HTML and CSS, with additional familiarity in JavaScript and jQuery preferred for web collaboration
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively, and show passion for digital innovation and customer engagement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field, with 3+ years of ecommerce/shopping operations experience and strong bilingual communication skills in Chinese and English
