What you'll do:

As an Account Manager based in Taipei City, you will be entrusted with cultivating strong relationships with strategic customers across diverse industries including manufacturing, power & utilities, and EPC sectors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve engaging directly with clients to understand their business needs, developing comprehensive account strategies that drive growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. You will be expected to identify high-value software opportunities by leveraging your deep industry knowledge and interpersonal skills. Success in this role requires maintaining a robust sales pipeline through diligent CRM management while delivering compelling presentations that resonate with senior stakeholders. By fostering trust-based partnerships with clients at all levels—from operational managers to C-suite executives—you will help expand the company’s presence within key accounts. Your ability to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles will be crucial as you support deal execution and manage escalations effectively. Working alongside presales specialists and delivery teams ensures seamless project implementation while leveraging the broader partner ecosystem enhances account growth potential.   • Achieve assigned sales targets and quota for strategic accounts by consistently identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Drive direct sales engagement with manufacturing, power utilities, and EPC customers by understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions that add value.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans that align with organisational objectives while ensuring long-term growth within key customer segments.
  • Expand the company’s footprint within existing key customers by leveraging industry knowledge and collaborative approaches to deepen partnerships.
  • Identify and close complex, high-value software opportunities through effective communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-focused approach.
  • Develop executive-level relationships within direct accounts by engaging senior stakeholders such as VP, CTO, CIO, and Operations leaders.
  • Understand customer requirements thoroughly and propose bespoke solutions that address their challenges while supporting their operational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with presales and delivery teams for large pursuits to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage partner ecosystem to support account growth by connecting clients with relevant resources and expertise within the network.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and CRM updates to ensure transparency throughout the sales process.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and solution positioning to senior stakeholders that clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Manage customer escalations professionally while supporting deal execution to maintain trust and loyalty.

What you bring:

Your extensive experience as an Account Manager equips you with the necessary skills to thrive in this role. You bring a dependable track record of managing complex enterprise sales cycles within process manufacturing (petrochemical, chemical, energy), discrete manufacturing (shipbuilding, heavy industry), power & utilities or EPC contractor environments. Your ability to connect empathetically with owner/operator customers enables you to understand their unique requirements while proposing tailored solutions that address operational challenges. You excel at developing account strategies that foster communal growth between clients and internal teams—ensuring everyone shares in success. Your proficiency in CRM systems supports transparent pipeline management while your strong communication skills facilitate collaborative engagements across multiple stakeholders. With a bachelor’s degree underpinning your technical acumen—and ideally an engineering background—you are well-positioned to engage senior executives confidently during presentations or negotiations.   • 5–10 years of proven enterprise direct sales experience demonstrating dependability in managing complex solution selling environments.
  • A track record of successfully selling to owner/operator customers within process or discrete manufacturing industries such as petrochemical manufacturers or shipbuilding companies.
  • Experience managing enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through closing high-value deals with senior executives like VP, CTO, CIO or Operations leaders.
  • Strong communication skills paired with stakeholder management abilities that foster collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to develop and execute account strategies that align with organisational goals while supporting client success.
  • Proficiency using CRM systems (such as MEDDPIC) for pipeline management coupled with disciplined forecasting practices.
  • Customer-focused mindset combined with results-driven approach ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical background is advantageous for understanding industry-specific challenges.
  • Experience in power utilities or EPC sectors is preferred along with familiarity in industrial automation or software sales environments.
  • Strong presentation skills complemented by negotiation capabilities that build trust among clients during solution positioning.
