A leading global industrial technology company seeks a Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial Contracts) in Taiwan to provide strategic legal counsel, strengthen commercial contracting, and enable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal counsel across the business, enabling commercial objectives while managing legal and regulatory risk
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts, balancing business opportunities with legal risk to support sustainable growth
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve complex legal matters and deliver practical, commercially focused solutions
• Own the development of legal policies, contract templates, and training programmes to strengthen governance, compliance, and legal best practices
• Drive legal operations, cross-functional initiatives, and process improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and business effectiveness

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Law with proven experience as Corporate Legal Counsel or Commercial Legal Counsel in a reputable organisation
• Qualified with a Taiwan Attorney License, US Bar admission, or equivalent legal qualification (preferred)
• Experience advising on commercial contracts, corporate legal matters, and cross-functional business operations within a fast-paced corporate environment
• Strong Chinese and English communication skills, with expertise in contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial legal advisory
• Commercially minded, analytical, and adaptable, with the ability to manage complex legal issues, influence business decisions, and drive continuous improvement
