Finance Assistant Manager/Manager

A leading technology organisation seeks a Finance Assistant Manager/Manager in Taiwan to establish its financial planning and cost management function, driving strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead cost analysis and financial modelling by analysing product BOMs, developing pricing, gross margin, forecasting, and long-term financial models that support strategic decision-making
• Build scalable finance planning and reporting capabilities by establishing cost analysis frameworks, KPIs, management reporting, and financial planning processes from the ground up
• Drive cross-functional business partnering by collaborating with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to optimise hardware, manufacturing, and supply chain costs
• Leverage data analytics, AI, and AWS to develop advanced dashboards and actionable insights that improve financial performance and business decisions
• Influence strategic outcomes as a trusted Finance Business Partner, providing commercial insights and guiding stakeholders to support sustainable growth

Candidate profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Cost Accounting, or a related commercial finance role
• Strong Financial Modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience analysing hardware, manufacturing, or product cost structures, including BOM and cost optimisation, is highly preferred
• Proven ability to build finance processes from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-growth or start-up environment
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, including LLMs and workflow automation, to enhance finance productivity
• Exposure to AWS or cloud-based data analytics platforms is an advantage
