Finance Controller

A well-established FMCG organisation seeks a Finance Controller in Taiwan to strengthen financial governance, enhance accounting excellence, and drive operational efficiency for sustainable business success.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Retail, E-commerce, and Supply Chain teams to deliver financial insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations that drive business growth
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and monthly reporting, ensuring accurate financial results and full visibility across the P&L and Balance Sheet
• Drive profitability and cash flow performance by optimising working capital, analysing channel and product profitability, and identifying opportunities to improve margins and cost efficiency
• Support strategic business decisions through financial modelling, investment analysis, pricing evaluations, and robust business case development
• Strengthen financial governance by ensuring compliance with Group policies and local regulations, leading audit activities, managing risk, and partnering with external stakeholders
• Drive finance transformation through process optimisation, system improvements, and operational finance initiatives that enhance business performance and efficiency

Candidate profile:

• 8–10 years’ experience in FP&A, business controlling, or finance business partnering, ideally within the retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industry
• Proven experience supporting multi-market operations and regional financial reporting across an APAC or multinational environment
• Strong financial modelling, planning, forecasting, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems, including ERP, HFM, and business intelligence (BI) tools
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships and influence strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced, matrix organisation
