Finance & Accounting Manager

A leading FMCG organisation seeks a Finance and Accounting Manager in Taiwan to transform financial operations, strengthen reporting and compliance, and drive sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the Accounts Receivable function, overseeing collections, revenue reconciliation, customer accounts, and cash-flow performance to ensure financial accuracy and business continuity
• Own the AR closing and reporting cycle, ensuring robust reconciliations, balance sheet integrity, timely financial reporting, and effective resolution of material issues
• Oversee tax compliance activities, including VAT, business tax, and statutory filings, ensuring adherence to local regulations and effective coordination of supporting documentation
• Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial, supply chain, and finance functions to resolve complex financial matters and strengthen revenue, billing, and collection outcomes
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, accounting firms, banks, and other external stakeholders, ensuring strong governance, audit readiness, and compliance
• Drive finance transformation and control improvements across AR and accounting operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and governance
• Develop team capability and accountability, ensuring effective ownership, collaboration, and timely delivery across Finance operations

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with 6–10 years’ accounting or finance experience
• Strong experience in Accounts Receivable, month-end closing, financial reporting, and internal controls, with knowledge of VAT, business tax, and local tax compliance
• Experience in retail channels is required, with FMCG, consumer goods, or related industry exposure preferred
• Audit firm, Big 4, or CPA firm experience is advantageous, alongside exposure to SAP or other ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and accurately under tight timelines
• Proficient in English and Mandarin, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable approach
