Accounting Manager

A leading multinational organisation seeks an Accounting Manager in Taiwan to transform finance operations, strengthen reporting and compliance, and drive process improvements that support business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality financial outputs
• Oversee end-to-end accounting activities, including month-end/year-end close, general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements that meet statutory, group reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Partner with the Finance Director to strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes and efficiency
• Drive finance transformation through automation, ERP/system implementation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement
• Manage auditors, tax advisors, and key stakeholders while supporting business initiatives and organisational changes with accounting expertise

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 8+ years’ progressive accounting experience with proven people management or team leadership experience, ideally within FMCG, retail, or a multinational environment
• Experience in finance transformation, process improvement, system implementation, or automation projects
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, internal controls, and local statutory requirements, with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in English and Chinese, with a hands-on, proactive, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced, changing environment
