Assistant Finance Manager

A global electronic manufacturer seeks an Assistant Finance Manager in Taiwan to transform financial operations, support regional finance initiatives, and ensure accurate, efficient financial management.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead finance and office operations in Taiwan, serving as the primary local finance partner to regional and global stakeholders
• Oversee the full accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close, and operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory filings, and audit requirements
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support strategic business decisions
• Strengthen financial governance through process improvements, robust internal controls, and finance systems optimisation, including NetSuite
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships by providing financial guidance, supporting regional initiatives, and promoting best practices

Candidate profile:

• Bring a degree in Accounting or Finance, with CPA or an equivalent professional qualification highly regarded
• Possess strong accounting experience (typically 7 years), delivering accurate financial reporting, efficient month-end close, and compliance with Taiwan audit and tax regulations
• Operate confidently in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment, working independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders, auditors, and tax advisors
• Apply strong knowledge of Taiwan accounting standards, VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Leverage advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is an advantage
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, with strong analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines
