Accounting & Tax Manager/Senior Manager

A respected FMCG organisation seeks an Accounting and Tax Manager/Senior Manager in Taiwan to drive financial governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen accounting operations for sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full compliance with local regulations and Group IFRS standards
• Oversee general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, tax compliance, and audit activities, maintaining robust financial controls and regulatory excellence
• Build trusted partnerships with internal and external auditors, outsourced service centres, regional stakeholders, and local teams to ensure seamless finance operations
• Strengthen governance by monitoring internal controls, resolving financial discrepancies, and delivering data-driven insights that support informed business decisions
• Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes, implement Group finance initiatives locally, and provide accounting expertise for cross-functional projects that enable business growth

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with solid experience in both corporate finance and public accounting environments
• Proven expertise in managing the full financial reporting cycle, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements
• Strong background in tax compliance, internal controls, audit coordination, and partnering with regional teams and outsourced service providers in a multinational environment
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of strengthening financial governance, mitigating risk, and driving continuous process improvements
