Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor

A leading international organisation in Taipei is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team, responsible for end-to-end accounting operations and ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local regulations.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that span the entire accounting cycle.

• Record and process all accounting transactions in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate processing and timely settlement of all related transactions
• Oversee customer accounts by applying effective credit control procedures to maintain healthy cash flow
• Execute month-end closing activities, ensuring completion within set deadlines
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements in line with IFRS and reporting timelines
• Monitor regulatory updates and support VAT, CIT, and other local tax filing preparations
• Support annual audit processes by liaising with auditors and providing required financial data and explanations
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to overall team objectives

Candidate profile:

To excel as a Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor in this organisation, you bring proven experience from the finance sector. Your profile includes:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• 5+ years of finance experience, including GL and reporting, preferably within multinational or foreign companies
• Proven ability to independently manage and resolve annual audit requirements
• Strong sense of responsibility with high initiative, efficiency, and accountability
• Excellent coordination skills, quick learner, and strong team-oriented mindset
• Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office applications for reporting and analysis
