About the Role A global technology company is looking for an Applications Engineer to join its technical customer support team in Hsinchu. In this role, you will work closely with customers throughout the product development cycle, providing technical support, coordinating cross-functional resources, and ensuring successful product integration into customer applications. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and product teams to resolve technical issues, support qualification activities, and contribute to successful product launches. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced electronic technologies in an international environment while developing both your technical expertise and customer-facing skills.

What you'll do

• Provide technical support throughout the customer product development and qualification process.
• Work closely with customers to understand application requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and product teams to resolve technical issues and support project execution.
• Investigate product-related issues, perform technical analysis, and communicate findings to both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support product validation, qualification, and production ramp activities.
• Track project milestones and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure project schedules are achieved.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
• Prepare technical reports, application notes, and documentation for internal and external use.
• Provide customer feedback to product development teams to support future product improvements.
• Maintain strong customer relationships while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Field Application Engineering, Customer Engineering, Technical Support, or Applications Engineering within the electronics industry.
• Experience supporting customer projects from product evaluation through qualification and production.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with electronic products, system integration, or component applications.
• Good communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple customer projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting display technologies or other electronic component products is an advantage.
