Server Application Engineer (Vcore)

About the role A technology company is seeking a Central Analog Field Applications Engineer to support next-generation server and high-performance computing platforms. This role focuses on customer-facing technical support, power system optimization, hardware validation, and collaboration with internal engineering teams. What you’ll do

• Support and debug power delivery solutions for server and compute platforms
• Work closely with customer engineering teams on system validation and issue resolution
• Perform power system tuning, loop stability analysis, and transient response optimization
• Conduct schematic/layout reviews and simulation modeling
• Generate technical reports including root-cause analysis and corrective actions
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Design teams to support customer projects
• Use lab equipment for hardware validation and debugging
• Provide technical feedback to improve future product development

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in power system design, validation, or debugging
• Experience with server, GPU, or high-power platforms is preferred
• Strong knowledge of DC-DC converters and power architecture
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as SIMPLIS, PSpice, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power analyzers
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and commercial teams
