About the role
A semiconductor company is seeking a Sustaining Test Engineer to support production testing and engineering operations in Hsinchu. This role is ideal for engineers with test or production experience who want to develop hands-on expertise in semiconductor test systems and high-volume manufacturing support.
What you’ll do
- Support production test operations including wafer sort and final test
- Set up and maintain ATE systems, probers, load boards, and probe cards
- Perform hardware debugging and troubleshoot test-related issues
- Collect and analyze test data for qualification and yield improvement
- Support product bring-up, characterization, and sustaining activities
- Assist in test program verification and issue resolution
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Maintain documentation, logs, and engineering records
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in semiconductor test / sustaining / production support
- Familiarity with ATE systems, probers, wafer sort, or final test operations
- Experience with load boards, probe cards, or test hardware debugging
- Knowledge of Advantest, Teradyne, LTX, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Willingness to work on-site in Hsinchu and travel if required
