Procurement Assistant Manager (Direct)

A leading global consumer goods organisation seeks a Procurement Assistant Manager (Direct) in Taiwan to drive strategic packaging sourcing and strengthen cost efficiency and supply resilience across Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead strategic sourcing for packaging materials across Taiwan and Hong Kong, developing category strategies that enhance cost competitiveness, supply continuity, quality, and operational performance
• Own the end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle, including supplier sourcing, RFI/RFP/RFQ management, negotiations, contract execution, onboarding, and procurement compliance
• Build and manage supplier partnerships, driving performance management and continuous improvement initiatives to maximise value and ensure reliable supply
• Partner with cross-functional and regional stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, finance, and procurement to deliver seamless sourcing execution and support strategic business objectives
• Maintain procurement data integrity through SAP and Coupa, deliver spend and category performance insights, and contribute to digital transformation and cross-functional procurement initiatives

Candidate profile:

• Bring at least 5 years’ procurement or strategic sourcing experience within manufacturing or FMCG, with proven expertise in sourcing packaging materials; exposure to pulp products is an advantage
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, contract management, and procurement best practices, with ownership of end-to-end sourcing activities
• Possess hands-on experience using SAP, Coupa, and advanced Excel to manage procurement processes, analyse spend, and monitor category performance
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, with professional fluency in both English and Mandarin
• Excel in stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, analytical thinking, and numerical accuracy, enabling effective collaboration with regional teams and suppliers
