Procurement Manager

A leading international B2B technology company is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee procurement processes for advanced electronic components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to global projects.

Key responsibilities:

As a Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activities for cutting-edge electronic components while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your expertise will drive supply chain efficiency, supplier relationships, and cost optimisation.

Material Supply Continuity

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of all materials to support production schedules and customer fulfilment
• Monitor supply chain risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions
• Manage sourcing and allocation of constrained components (e.g., ICs, memory) when required

Supplier & AVL Management

• Develop and maintain the Approved Vendor List (AVL) to ensure a reliable supplier base
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while implementing dual/multi-sourcing strategies to mitigate risk
• Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics

Cost & Commercial Optimisation

• Lead RFQ execution, supplier evaluation, and price negotiations to secure optimal sourcing outcomes
• Drive cost optimisation through supplier competition, benchmarking, and sourcing strategy improvements
• Monitor market trends and component pricing to support informed procurement decisions and timing

Supplier Performance & Capacity Management

• Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure consistent quality, stable supply, and on-time delivery performance
• Support capacity planning and cross-functional coordination with the Quality team to address supplier issues and meet demand fluctuations

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

• Partner with Engineering during NPI to ensure material readiness and seamless product introduction
• Provide cost and supply chain input for design decisions while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution

Candidate profile:

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience in sourcing electronic components within fast-paced manufacturing or technology settings.

• 5–10 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with strong focus on electronic components (ICs, memory, sensors, etc.)
• Proven track record in fast-paced, results-driven ODM/OEM environments, ensuring on-time, cost-effective, and quality-compliant material delivery under constraints
• Experience sourcing constrained components via spot markets and non-franchised channels, with strong supplier validation and authenticity/risk management expertise
• Hands-on experience managing AVL, supplier qualification, and supplier development initiatives
• Strong capability in RFQ execution, cost negotiation, supplier benchmarking, and implementing dual-/multi-sourcing strategies
• Solid understanding of supply chain risk management, mitigation planning, and strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office, with experience in inventory management, process optimisation, and fluent in Chinese with functional English communication skills
