Planning Supervisor

A global manufacturer seeks a Planning Supervisor in Taiwan to lead production planning, material planning, and buying activities to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities:

As a Planning Supervisor, you will translate demand into production plans, manage materials, track KPIs, drive process improvements, and lead teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Develop and manage Master Production Plans (MPS) aligned with demand, capacity, and materials
• Set and monitor production targets, addressing variances to maintain performance
• Oversee MRP and procurement to ensure timely material availability and optimal inventory
• Coordinate cross-functionally (Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and Logistics) to resolve production and supply chain issues
• Track KPIs, drive process improvements, and lead the planning team for effective execution

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring production planning expertise, collaboration skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Proven experience in production/material planning or supply chain within manufacturing
• Ability to translate demand forecasts and orders into executable plans
• Leadership experience(lead or supervisory role) with strong team management skills is required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication abilities
