HR Director

A leading publicly listed manufacturing group seeks an HR Director in Taiwan to transform people strategy, strengthen talent, and align workforce initiatives with business growth and expansion across markets for sustainable success.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the Business Group GM and leaders to align HR strategy with business priorities and organisational goals
• Lead workforce planning, organisational development and succession planning to build future-ready talent pipelines across all levels
• Drive talent management and leadership development programmes to develop high-potential talent and strengthen succession for key roles
• Manage a 3-member HR team and oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance and core HR operations
• Lead HR transformation for new ventures and overseas expansion, coordinating workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and retention
• Provide strategic HR insights while strengthening inclusive culture, regulatory compliance and market competitiveness across manufacturing and energy sectors

Candidate profile:

• 10+ years’ HR experience with strong HR Business Partnering expertise and proven senior-level HR leadership
• People management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a 3-member HR team
• Proven track record partnering with senior leaders to translate complex business needs into practical HR solutions
• Manufacturing industry experience required; energy sector exposure is a strong advantage for business expansion
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and stakeholder management across local and international teams
• Fluent English with an empathetic, dependable and collaborative approach to practical solutions and inclusive leadership
