Head of HR

A leading global technology organisation seeks a Head of Human Resources in Taiwan to transform people strategies, strengthen talent and leadership, and drive long-term organisational growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Own global HR frameworks across Taiwan, ensuring consistent approaches to performance, career progression, and compensation
• Localise global HR policies for Taiwan, balancing international standards with cultural, market, and legal requirements
• Strengthen junior leadership capability through manager development programmes that support organisational growth
• Lead engagement and retention strategies, using data and employee feedback to identify risks, improve outcomes, and track progress
• Build trusted partnerships with Taiwan engineering and global HR leaders, providing tailored solutions aligned with business needs
• Balance local priorities with global objectives while driving measurable people initiatives that strengthen organisational effectiveness

Candidate profile:

• Proven HR leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within technology or engineering organisations
• Strong knowledge of global performance management, career progression, and compensation frameworks, with the ability to localise them effectively
• Experience working in matrixed, multinational environments, balancing Taiwan business needs with global HR priorities
• Proven ability to develop junior managers or first-time leaders through structured programmes, coaching, and capability-building initiatives
• Strong data-driven problem-solving, stakeholder management, engagement, retention, and communication skills
• Deep understanding of Taiwan labour laws, talent market trends, and cultural practices
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin preferred
