What you'll do:

• Independently undertake and execute comprehensive mechanical design projects, managing all phases from initial concept through to mass production while ensuring seamless documentation throughout.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required along with substantial experience covering the full spectrum of design processes from concept validation through prototyping, development, and commercialisation.
• A minimum of three years’ hands-on experience in precision mechanical design or related fields is essential for success in this position.
• Proficiency in using 3D CAD solid modelling tools such as SolidWorks as well as finite element analysis software like COMSOL or similar platforms is expected.
• Demonstrated ability to perform analyses related to motion systems, vibration dynamics, and pneumatic mechanisms is highly valued.
• Experience executing comprehensive tests on prototypes—including report writing—and evaluating designs against evolving product requirements is necessary.
• Familiarity with multi-axis systems including servo drives, pneumatic actuators, stepper motors, as well as other drive or sensing technologies is important.
• Ability to interpret client specifications accurately and translate them into practical tool designs tailored to specific needs is required.
• Knowledge of small-batch manufacturing methods along with relevant mechanical engineering standards such as geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) is advantageous.
