What you'll do:

As Business Development Manager – Cooling Technology based in Taipei or Mainland China, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of advanced thermal management systems across multiple industries. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing robust business strategies tailored to regional markets, identifying new avenues for growth within data centre infrastructure, automotive EV components, industrial power applications, and electronics cooling. By conducting deep-dive analyses into market trends and competitor landscapes, you will help refine go-to-market approaches that maximise competitive advantages. Your presence at industry events will not only boost brand recognition but also provide valuable insights into customer needs. Success in this role hinges on your ability to foster strong relationships across all levels of the organisation and externally with clients; your collaborative approach will ensure seamless execution of co-development projects that solidify the company’s reputation as a trusted partner in cooling technology.

  • Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with regional goals, focusing on expanding market share for liquid cooling solutions in Greater China and Asia.
  • Identify untapped market opportunities within data centre, automotive EV, industrial power, and electronics cooling segments to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Lead the pursuit and negotiation of strategic partnerships and long-term contracts with key stakeholders in the liquid cooling industry, establishing multi-level relationships with executives, procurement specialists, and engineers.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual revenue targets for the liquid cooling business by creating detailed sales roadmaps and market penetration plans.
  • Provide regular strategic insights, market analysis, and performance reports to senior leadership teams to inform decision-making processes.
  • Guide cross-functional teams—including R&D, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales—to ensure technical customisation and solution optimisation for liquid cooling products.
  • Conduct thorough market and competitive analysis for global, Asia, and Greater China segments; monitor industry trends, analyse competitor strategies, pricing models, and product portfolios.
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional teams to align product roadmaps with local market demands while facilitating technology transfer of advanced cooling technologies.
  • Represent the organisation at major industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to enhance brand visibility in the liquid cooling sector.
  • Gather first-hand market intelligence from industry stakeholders to inform product development and customer engagement strategies.

What you bring:

To excel as Business Development Manager – Cooling Technology you will bring substantial experience from relevant sectors such as Datacenter infrastructure, Server or automotive EV components. Your academic background in mechanical engineering equips you with technical insight necessary for understanding complex thermal management systems. You have honed your interpersonal skills through years of managing high-level relationships with OEMs across Asia—negotiating contracts that deliver mutual value. Your fluency in English and Chinese enables you to communicate seamlessly across borders while presenting confidently at executive forums. Analytical acumen allows you to interpret shifting market conditions rapidly; you are adept at synthesising competitive intelligence into actionable strategies. Your collaborative nature ensures effective teamwork across departments—from R&D through sales—while your familiarity with regulatory frameworks keeps projects compliant.   • More than five years of progressive business development experience within Datacom, server or EV parts industries focused on cooling or thermal management solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level relationships with OEMs in Greater China and Asia; proven track record of securing design-in opportunities and negotiating long-term contracts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese; adept at delivering executive-level presentations and negotiating complex agreements.
  • In-depth knowledge of regional cooling markets including datacentres, servers, EV/HEV/ICE segments; familiarity with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills enabling interpretation of market data; ability to identify business opportunities quickly and adapt strategies responsively.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex projects from concept through execution; skilled at aligning diverse groups towards common objectives.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive market research; comfortable analysing competitor portfolios, pricing models, and positioning strategies.
  • Proven collaborative mindset; able to work effectively within global networks while maintaining sensitivity to local cultural nuances.
  • Non-Chinese passport is considered an advantage for candidates seeking broader regional exposure.
