What you'll do:

• You will develop a deep understanding of Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) features and industry specifications, ensuring all designs meet rigorous standards.
• You will take responsibility for BMC functions, troubleshooting issues as they arise and collaborating closely with both hardware and firmware teams to deliver robust solutions.
• You will engage with customers to understand their requirements thoroughly, evaluating feasibility and scheduling project timelines to ensure successful delivery.
• You will maintain sustaining platforms by monitoring performance, implementing updates, and supporting ongoing improvements.
• You will participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and coordinate efforts across engineering disciplines.
• You will document technical processes comprehensively to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
• You will contribute to the testing and validation of new BMC features, ensuring reliability and compliance with customer expectations.
• You will support the integration of BMC solutions into enterprise wireless communication systems, network security servers, mesh networks, and client devices.
• You will provide guidance to junior engineers through mentoring and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
• You will stay updated on emerging technologies in BMC development to continually enhance product offerings.

What you bring:

• Your proficiency in C, C++, Python programming languages as well as Linux Shell Script enables you to tackle complex software challenges efficiently.
• Your familiarity with IPMI specification and Redfish protocols ensures seamless integration of management interfaces into server products.
• Your experience with AMI BMC or OPEN-BMC development allows you to contribute valuable insights during product design phases.
• Your background in Embedded Linux or microcontroller unit (MCU) environments is considered an advantage when developing scalable solutions.
• Your proven track record includes at least four years working on server products within R&D or manufacturing settings.
• Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly supports effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Your attention to detail ensures that all documentation is accurate and accessible for future reference.
• Your willingness to mentor junior colleagues fosters a nurturing environment where everyone can thrive.
