[Semiconductor Test Equipment] Design Engineer

• Develop mechanical designs for device kits by following established engineering procedures and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Generate comprehensive design documentation including detailed part drawings per ASME 14.5 standard, assembly drawings, and bills of materials to facilitate manufacturing processes.
• Monitor the development of device kits and implement modifications or refinements based on evolving customer preferences or requirements.
• Provide technical services and guidance to kit users regarding applications and technology, fostering strong interpersonal connections with stakeholders.
• Participate actively in all phases of project development such as requirement definition, research, design, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interface, maintenance, safety protocols, and economic utilisation.
• Modify fabricated parts using redlined drawings or verbal instructions to ensure accuracy and responsiveness to production needs.
• Create engineering change orders and update bills of materials as necessary to maintain up-to-date records for manufacturing teams.
• Ensure timely availability of kit designs and associated hardware for both manufacturing teams and customers by managing priorities effectively.
• Support the manufacturing floor as required by offering technical expertise and problem-solving assistance during production activities.
• Demonstrate integrity in all business dealings while adhering strictly to corporate ethical standards; uphold health and safety measures as well as environmental protection policies throughout daily responsibilities.
