• Conduct detailed analysis to determine if project specifications are realistic, estimating risk exposure using advanced methods such as thermal dynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), mean time between failure (MTBF), and failure modes and effect analysis (FMEA).
• Participate in or manage all phases of assigned projects including requirement definition, design, testing, integration, deployment, and ongoing support, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project requirements, specifications, and detailed plans that guide successful execution from concept through delivery.
• Track project progression meticulously to ensure timely completion while adhering strictly to established product development processes.
• Interface directly with operations, sales teams, customers, and other business units to facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment of objectives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide work leadership and training to lower-level technical or professional employees, nurturing their development through supportive guidance.
• Supervise lower-level engineering personnel during project execution, fostering a cooperative atmosphere that promotes knowledge sharing.
• Prepare tailored presentations for diverse audiences including product management, fellow engineers, customers, and stakeholders to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Process data acquisition output from laboratory experiments or field systems to inform design improvements and validate performance metrics.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% as required for project meetings, customer interactions, or site visits.
