• Troubleshoot product failures by conducting detailed investigations and applying advanced problem-solving techniques to ensure swift resolution.
• Write comprehensive test plans and execute them meticulously to identify root causes of failures across various products and processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to develop corrective and preventative actions that address systemic issues effectively.
• Lead complex investigations involving customer escalations, field failures, RMAs, and critical non-conformances using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Support customer communications by clearly articulating technical findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions at both operational and leadership levels.
• Develop robust control plans, inspection plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes required during failure analysis or containment actions.
• Interpret technical drawings, quality control documents, inspection plans, and product specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilise hands-on experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly and competent use of hand tools to facilitate effective troubleshooting.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, injection moulding, extruding, welding, additive manufacturing, surface treatment, etc., to enhance quality outcomes.
• Travel throughout the Asia Pacific region up to 30% of the time to support quality initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
