Enjoy the autonomy to lead high-impact projects, from generating clinical evidence to optimising KOL management and delivering advanced training across cross-functional teams.
A leading global healthcare organisation is seeking a Medical Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of vital organ therapies in Taiwan and across the region. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to establish medical affairs as a strategic partner to the business, working closely with local, regional, and global teams to drive both immediate and long-term objectives. You will be empowered to independently develop and execute comprehensive medical plans, deliver advanced internal training, foster impactful external engagement, and generate clinical evidence that supports innovative therapies. The organisation offers a supportive environment where your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes, elevate standards of care, and contribute to meaningful scientific advancement. If you are passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives while enjoying flexibility, professional growth, and the chance to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in healthcare, this role is designed for you.
What you'll do:
As Medical Manager, you will be entrusted with significant responsibility for driving forward the medical strategy within vital organ therapies. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating closely with local business units while also supporting broader regional projects. You will design and execute robust medical plans tailored to each stage of product development—pre-launch through post-launch—ensuring alignment with both commercial objectives and ethical standards. Your expertise will be called upon to create compelling educational materials for new therapies, provide advanced training for internal teams, and facilitate meaningful scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals. By leading advisory boards and consensus meetings with national experts, you will help shape best practices in clinical care. Additionally, you will spearhead data generation initiatives that fill critical research gaps while managing publication strategies that support reimbursement efforts. Your ability to respond accurately to medical queries ensures all engagements reflect the highest standards of clinical integrity. Through your commitment to patient-centric education and KOL engagement, you will help position the organisation as a trusted leader in healthcare innovation.
- Independently develop and implement pre-launch, launch, and post-launch medical strategies for vital organ therapies such as peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and other organ-supporting treatments.
- Create evidence-based medical content for new therapies and products that drive business growth while ensuring scientific accuracy and relevance.
- Deliver advanced internal training sessions for commercial teams, cross-functional colleagues, and new hires to ensure comprehensive understanding of the full product portfolio.
- Engage meaningfully with external stakeholders through field interactions, educational lectures at CMEs or symposia, and one-on-one or group scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals.
- Plan, execute, and lead national or regional advisory board meetings or consensus-building events attended by key experts in the field.
- Utilise established methodologies to generate high-standard statements that inform clinical practice and policy decisions.
- Respond promptly to medical queries from internal teams or external partners while ensuring all communications meet rigorous clinical standards.
- Adopt a patient-centric approach by educating on the appropriate and safe use of renal products and therapies to maximise patient benefit.
- Develop, nurture, and engage speakers as well as key opinion leaders (KOLs) in scientific activities that reinforce the organisation’s reputation as a science-driven healthcare leader.
- Lead data generation initiatives such as investigator-initiated research (IIR), real-world data collection, health economics outcomes research (HEOR) studies, and manage publication plans to address research gaps.
