What you'll do:

• Oversee the overall software quality for advanced wireless presentation and collaboration products, ensuring every release meets rigorous standards.
• Validate new features developed by team members, confirming they align with agreed requirements and meet the Definition of Done before deployment.
• Contribute actively to continuous integration initiatives by designing and implementing automated tests using Python across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Promote Test-Driven Development practices within the team by advocating for early testing involvement and supporting best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with fellow QA engineers to share tools, techniques, and insights that enhance collective effectiveness and foster a communal approach to problem-solving.
• Plan comprehensive test cases based on product requirements, execute them diligently, identify issues promptly, troubleshoot effectively, and drive resolution through clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust QA pipelines as well as release processes to support smooth product launches and consistent delivery cycles.
• Work hand-in-hand with product managers and developers in an agile setting to prioritise tasks, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Safeguard the stability of quarterly firmware releases by conducting thorough regression testing and monitoring performance metrics post-release.
• Manage incoming issues reported by partners or customers by investigating root causes, providing detailed feedback to developers, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist with debugging efforts by collecting logs, analysing data, and collaborating with developers to isolate problems efficiently.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated proficiency in English communication skills (both spoken and written), enabling effective collaboration across multicultural teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of network protocols such as TCP/UDP along with familiarity with security technologies like SSL; experience working with embedded systems is considered advantageous.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline—or equivalent professional experience gained through hands-on roles.
• Three to five years of proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), ideally within agile software development settings.
• Practical experience performing manual testing for web applications as well as mobile platforms including iOS and Android devices.
• Familiarity with modern development workflows encompassing version control tools like Git or SVN plus issue tracking systems such as JIRA or Pivotal Tracker.
• Hands-on expertise in developing automated tests using Python across multiple operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux) to support continuous integration initiatives.
• A collaborative mindset that values teamwork, open communication, knowledge sharing, and mutual support among colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying root causes of defects quickly while maintaining a considerate approach when resolving issues reported by users or partners.
