What you'll do:

• Collaborate closely with information technology departments and process owners to address complex or non-standard daily requirements from product development personnel.
• Work alongside IT teams to resolve issues arising from the use of shared templates and system functionalities by product developers.
• Propose enhancements to research and development workflows or information systems based on existing frameworks, ensuring all improvements are validated by end users for effectiveness.
• Consolidate cross-departmental workflow or system requirements within the R&D centre, leading discussions to reach consensus and implementing agreed-upon changes.
• Champion the integration of hardware and software development management procedures with R&D information systems to improve overall work quality and efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between diverse stakeholders to ensure that process improvements align with both management intentions and team needs.
• Monitor industry trends in quality assurance and cybersecurity standards, ensuring internal processes remain current without disrupting daily operations.
• Support the adoption of DevOps principles by promoting end-to-end collaboration through effective use of information systems.
• Document best practices and lessons learned from process optimisation initiatives to foster organisational learning.

What you bring:

• A university degree or higher in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science or related fields; alternatively, equivalent foundational knowledge in software development such as programming languages, data structures, algorithms, or software engineering principles.
• Demonstrated experience with Python programming for automation or process enhancement tasks.
• Proficiency in open source software composition management tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on familiarity with Jira/Confluence plug-ins and APIs for project tracking and documentation purposes.
• Experience using at least one of the following: Jira (project management), Confluence (documentation), Xray (test case/bug management), GitlabCI (continuous integration), Shell scripting or Ansible (automation).
• Ability to patiently nurture essential but often overlooked aspects of product engineering infrastructure while maintaining focus on long-term benefits.
• Willingness to listen to diverse perspectives within and outside the organisation, turning conflicting viewpoints into opportunities for learning and progress.
• Commitment to making decisions aligned with core organisational values in everyday work situations.
• TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent English proficiency certification demonstrating strong communication skills in an international context.
