Data Engineer (AWS)

We are supporting a fast-moving digital asset and fintech company in the search for a Data Engineer to build and scale their cloud-native data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in AWS-based data engineering and comfortable working in English-speaking, international teams. You’ll work closely with a senior engineer while contributing independently to key development tasks from day one.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based data infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS (e.g., RDS, Redshift)

• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to support business operations and analytics

• Work closely with the Senior Data Engineer to ensure data quality, performance, and security

• Proactively identify data reliability and workflow gaps, and recommend solutions

• Evaluate and modernize existing data systems for greater efficiency and automation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively in English to align on data needs

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies and data engineering

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)

• Experience with AWS services (especially RDS, S3, Glue) is strongly preferred

• Familiarity with Git / GitLab and collaborative development workflows

• Good understanding of database design, performance tuning, and data security best practices

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• (Must-have) Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

• (Must-have) Strong verbal communication skills in English; able to work in an English-speaking environment
