[Education/ Fully-Remote] CTO

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead their technical team. What you'll do:

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client's product team towards achieving their commercial objectives. You will work closely with the CEO, providing regular updates on progress and developments. Your role will involve observing market trends and user requirements, continuously developing and optimizing products accordingly. You will be responsible for formulating technical strategies that align with business goals, as well as establishing security standards to ensure data safety. In addition, you will have the opportunity to build your own product team, assisting your colleagues in their professional growth.

• Lead the product team to achieve business goals and report to the CEO
• Collaborate with business teams to observe market and user needs changes, continuously develop and optimize products
• Pay attention to product and technology trends, formulate technology strategies that align with business goals
• Formulate technical architecture
• Establish security standards and strategies to ensure data security
• Build a product team, assist partners in growth and self-realization
• Develop new feature modules in line with product goals (front-end, back-end, data)
• Optimize product performance and improve stability
• Manage and develop AWS / GCP services

What you bring:

As the Head of Engineering, you bring a wealth of system development experience to our client's team. With at least five years under your belt, you've honed your technical skills in Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB among others. Your previous leadership roles have equipped you with the ability to guide a small team effectively. You're not just technically proficient - you're also passionate about technology education products and are eager to make a difference in the education sector. Your willingness to help your team members grow and achieve their goals is what sets you apart.

• At least five years of system development experience with key results
• Technical expertise, possibly as a supervisor of a small team with some leadership experience
• Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB
• Ability to quickly learn Javascript-related ecosystems if familiar with other web technologies (e.g., Ruby on Rails / Django / Flask / Go / Java etc.)
• Interest in technology education products and changing the current situation of education
• Willingness to spend time helping team members grow and achieve goals
