[Quant Tech] AI Data Scientist

We are looking for an AI Data Scientist to explore the intersection of Generative AI, LLMs, and quantitative strategy research. You will use AI pair-programming and agentic workflows to analyze large datasets, rapidly prototype ideas, build and evaluate models, and explore how AI can accelerate strategy development and decision-making.

What You’ll Do

• Use LLM-powered AI pair-programming to explore, clean, and analyze large datasets.
• Apply AI-agent architectures to automate strategy generation and evaluation.
• Build, fine-tune, and evaluate AI / LLM models.
• Identify meaningful features and patterns from financial and operational data.
• Produce analytical reports and support strategy evaluation.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to integrate models and insights into internal systems.
• Monitor model and strategy performance after implementation.
• Experiment with new AI workflows to accelerate research and prototyping.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong Python skills, particularly Pandas and NumPy.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub workflows.
• Practical experience using LLMs for AI pair-programming.
• Strong Prompt Engineering capabilities.
• Analytical thinking, curiosity, and self-motivation.
• Effective communication in both English and Chinese.

Preferred candidates include final-year undergraduate or second-year Master’s students in EE, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or related fields.
