What you'll do:

• Design, train, and optimise Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for image classification, object detection, tracking, segmentation, anomaly detection, and video analytics applications.
• Own the end-to-end Computer Vision pipeline, including data preparation, labelling, preprocessing, augmentation, model training, evaluation, and error analysis.
• Monitor and improve model performance in real-world environments, enhancing accuracy, robustness, and scalability while adapting to evolving requirements.
• Deploy and optimise AI models on Edge AI and embedded platforms, leveraging quantisation, pruning, compression, and hardware acceleration techniques to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and product teams while following engineering best practices in experiment management, version control, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Computer Vision, with a proven track record of delivering AI-driven solutions.
• Strong expertise in developing and deploying ML/DL models from end to end, including feature engineering, model training, validation, optimisation, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Python and key AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and OpenCV, with solid knowledge of image and video analytics workflows.
• Experience with Edge AI or embedded AI deployment using technologies such as TensorRT, ONNX, TensorFlow Lite, or OpenVINO; exposure to ROS2, robotics, autonomous systems, or UAV applications is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments while adhering to engineering best practices in experimentation, testing, version control, and documentation.
