Our client is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to maintain and operate security systems and protection mechanisms. What you'll do:

As a Security Engineer, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our client’s information systems are safeguarded against various threats. You will leverage cutting-edge tools to monitor and protect systems, responding swiftly to any anomalies. Additionally, you will contribute to various cybersecurity projects and stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity laws, regulations, and technologies to develop optimal security policies and management processes.

• Maintain and operate security systems and protection mechanisms, such as WAF, Endpoint Protection XDR, SIEM, Antivirus, Employee Internet Access Control, IPS, Vulnerability Scanning, and APT Detection.
• Analyze and handle network threats and security incidents.
• Plan and execute cybersecurity-related projects.
• Research cybersecurity laws, regulations, and technologies to establish security policies and management processes.
• Conduct threat intelligence management and demonstrate expertise in attack techniques and security incident analysis.

What you bring:

As a Security Engineer, you should have extensive experience in IT and security system operations and maintenance, along with strong analytical and project management skills. You should be adept at handling various security threats and incidents while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity laws and regulations.

• At least 4 years of experience in IT security operations, system maintenance, or financial institution system implementation and maintenance.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, SSCP, CEH, ECSA, ECIH, CISA, ISO27001 LA, CCSP, CSSLP, CHFI, BS10012 LA, or any cybersecurity certification issued by the Executive Yuan.
• Experience managing Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Extended Endpoint Detection and Response (XDR), Email Data Protection, Network Intrusion Detection & Prevention (IPS), and Employee Internet Access Control.
• Strong background in threat intelligence management, attack techniques, and security incident analysis.
