Cyber Security Engineer

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join their dynamic team in Taipei. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in the operation of the cybersecurity organisation and coordinate communication with IT-related units across the group. The successful candidate will conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, plan, implement, and execute cybersecurity-related projects, and perform basic operation and maintenance of cybersecurity equipment.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate communication with IT-related units across the group
• Plan, implement, and execute cybersecurity-related projects
• Perform basic operation and maintenance of cybersecurity equipment such as WAF, Firewall, IPS, NAC etc.
• Assist in forensic investigations of corporate cybersecurity incidents
• Conduct cybersecurity vulnerability intelligence gathering
• Provide cybersecurity education and training

What you bring:

• Experience in Vulnerability Management
• Proficiency with security testing tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threat types such as OWASP Top 10
• Knowledge of public cloud services (GCP, AWS)
• Understanding of security technologies in DevOps, public cloud, and container environments
