Finance Manager

A leading retail organisation seeks a Finance Manager in Taiwan to drive financial transformation, optimise operations, and support sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

As Finance Manager, you will oversee finance operations, drive business performance, strengthen financial controls, and support strategic decision-making and business development.

• Oversee finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate month-end closing, statutory reporting, tax provisions, and VAT submissions
• Manage cash flow, financial performance metrics, banking activities, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis
• Analyse sales, inventory, and supply chain data to provide financial insights and support business decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support business development initiatives and cross-functional projects
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with local regulations and statutory requirements
• Utilise SAP and advanced Excel to maintain data integrity, streamline reporting, and promote financial best practices and continuous improvement through knowledge sharing

Candidate profile:

• BA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• At least 8 years’ solid Finance & Accounting experience
• Mandatory retail industry experience; sportswear industry exposure is an advantage
• Proficiency in SAP systems and strong Excel skills for data management and reporting
• Strong business sense, analytical skills, excellent written and spoken English, and ability to collaborate and build dependable relationships
• Understanding of local statutory requirements, commitment to continuous learning, and sensitivity towards process improvement initiatives
