CFO

A leading manufacturing organisation seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Taiwan to drive financial transformation, strengthen strategic planning and governance, and support sustainable business growth and performance.

Key responsibilities:

As Chief Financial Officer, you will drive strategic financial leadership, strengthen governance and compliance, optimise business performance, and lead Finance to support sustainable growth.

• Partner with the Managing Director and executive management team to provide strategic financial insights, recommendations, and analysis that support business objectives and decision-making
• Collaborate with business and functional leaders to identify financial opportunities and risks, optimise resource allocation, improve operational performance, and support pricing, costing, and commercial decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management aligned with regional and global objectives, monitoring actuals against plans, analysing variances and trends, and recommending corrective actions
• Oversee accounting, management reporting, and financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and local requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, and asset protection through appropriate checks, balances, and segregation of duties, while overseeing cash flow, credit control, collections, cost optimisation, currency exposure, and treasury compliance
• Ensure compliance with Taiwan finance, accounting, taxation, banking, and disclosure regulations while upholding ethical standards, coaching Finance team members, developing technical expertise, sharing knowledge, providing training, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture across functions

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification strongly preferred
• Significant accounting and financial management experience across planning, reporting, controls, treasury, taxation and business partnering
• Senior Finance leadership experience in a multinational or complex business environment, with experience leading high-performing Finance teams and developing technical expertise
• Proven experience with ERP systems and financial management/reporting platforms
• Strong commercial acumen, translating complex financial data into actionable business insights, with deep understanding of internal controls, governance frameworks and financial compliance requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence local, regional and global partners
